NYC to celebrate the flavors of Portugal at Vinho Voyage, a wine, food and travel experience hosted by Wines of Portugal and Tourism of Portugal

Wines of Portugal and Tourism of Portugal have teamed up to present Vinho Voyage, an exciting celebration of Portuguese wine, food and culture coming to New York City on Sunday, September 21. At Vinho Voyage, New Yorkers will embark on a sensorial journey through Portugal, complete with wine tastings, authentic cuisine, and travel inspiration, all set to the sounds of a DJ spinning fresh Portuguese pop. Guests at Vinho Voyage can also look forward to engaging with industry experts, sommeliers, and culinary personalities as they discover the beauty, flavor and charm of Portugal.
Wine lovers will delight in tasting over 100 different wines, poured by over 20 winemakers representing every region of Portugal. A range of styles will be available to taste, from rich Alentejo to crisp Vinho Verde and everything in between. Plus, eligible wines will be available for purchase through Wine.com, the official wine retail sponsor of Vinho Voyage.
Attendees will also get a taste of authentic Portuguese cuisine. Signature dishes will be created by Chef Nuno Sousa, Executive Chef and Founder of NYC’s own Leitao, known for their modern spin on classic Portuguese fare. Hungry for more? Sample products from Portugalia Marketplace, the leading Portuguese marketplace in the United States, including a classic Pastéis de Nata, the custard bite that has captivated foodies across the globe. Plus, be prepared to shop: Portugalia Marketplace will also have their unique products available for purchase on-site.
Become inspired with a series of exciting of conversations led by leaders in Portuguese food, wine and travel, with three sessions in the Lounge space: A discussion about Portugal’s unique wine tourism routes led by New York Times journalist Claudine Ko, a guided tasting of four award-winning wines with sommelier Eugenio Jardim, and an lively dive into Portuguese cuisine between Food Network Chef and Chopped Champion Lauren Covas, and Michael Benevides, owner of Portugalia Marketplace.
Vinho Voyage will help New Yorkers discover the renowned wine regions, breathtaking landscapes, and warm hospitality Portugal has to offer. Attendees should expect travel tips, wine tourism offers, and travel perks exclusively available to Vinho Voyage attendees.
