Seiki Yukimoto Soulbleed East Meets West

Expect a high energy performance and  unique fusion sounds as master trumpeter Seiki “Yuki” Yukimoto and Soulbleed East Meets West takes the stage.   The band is known for its improvization style –these living legends bring down the house when they perform together.  Thrill as they seamlessly move from one tune to the next with each musician showcasing his amazing talent.  Mr Yukimoto is fresh off of sold out tours in Japan where he is  acclaimed for his original style and smokin’ jam session.  This is jazz reimagined for the 21st century.  It delights and excites.  Mr Yukimoto will be joined by  William Spaceman Patterson on guitar, Terry Burrus on keyboards, Stanley Banks on bass guitar, Craig Holiday Haynes on drums, Newman Taylor Baker on washboard and percussion and Jose Luis Abreu on percussion.  Mr Yukimoto was a bandmate of Don Cherry who became his mentor and along with Miles Davis heavily influenced his style.  For him playing a trumpet is pure passion.  The result is music that will grab and stir your soul.
