The Quite Sane Collective NYC residency series presents acclaimed spoken word artist Ursula Rucker with Tim Angulo, Tim Motzer and Anthony Tidd, at Atelier Harlem on Saturday, September 13.
The residency features 20 days of non-stop activity in the heart of Harlem: nine Quite Sane concerts, weekly jam sessions, weekend guest ensembles, and an Atelier Harlem Party. Artists include Anthony Tidd, Astrid Kralisch, Damion Reid, Digba Ogunbiyi, Emmanuel Michael, Kokayi, Laurin Talese, Mark Shim, Mason Bryant, Matt Mitchell, Micah Thomas, Miguel Zenón, Miles Okazaki, Paul Cornish Sean Rickman, Steven Lehman, Tim Angulo, and more.
Atelier Harlem is a a pop-up brownstone performance space created by Tidd and dedicated to creative music in Uptown Manhattan (246 Malcolm X Blvd — 122nd & Lenox Ave). This series is made possible with support from John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation and South Arts.
