Jenny and the Mexicats

Jenny and the Mexicats live at S.O.B.’s on Sunday, September 15th.

Jenny and the Mexicats is a musical journey that shows that there are no borders when it comes to music, mixing rhythms of jazz, rockabilly, folk, flamenco, reggae, Veracruz, country, and cumbia. The band had its beginnings in Madrid as Pachucos y la princesa in 2008. Their debut album in 2011 landed them a Gold record, since which they’ve released four albums and performed all over the world, including appearances at Wonderland and SXSW festivals, and NPR Tiny Desk. Their album “Ome” was nominated for Los Premios Award for Best Mexican Act in 2016.
