Epicure comes at a time of tremendous research momentum and extraordinary strategic philanthropy that has brought the Foundation closer than ever to better treatments and a cure. As a reflection of this, the Foundation continues to monitor progress on more than 150 different therapies in clinical trials with a majority of treatments focused on slowing or stopping the disease. Today, there are 20 new treatments, approved by the FDA in the last decade.
Proceeds from the event, more than $800,000 (and counting!) to date, will support MJFF in its mission to accelerate a cure for PD and ensure the development of improved therapies for people and families living with the disease today.
