Olly Olly Market is teaming up with Second Chance Rescue and Canine Companions to host Dog Day, on Saturday, September 27th, from 1 – 4 PM, a celebration for pups and the people who adore them. Bring your four-legged friend for a fun-filled afternoon, or stop by if you’re looking to meet your future furry companion. Enjoy treats, shop from dog-friendly vendors, and connect with fellow dog lovers.

Second Chance Rescue – NYC Second Chance Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2009. With the help of our community of donors and supporters, we have saved over 15,000 lives from an unimaginable fate. We concentrate our efforts on large breed dogs and cats who need critical life-saving care. These two criteria make up most of the euthanasias in the United States.

Nine out of ten animals that enter NYC Second Chance Rescue were once set to be euthanized at a municipal shelter.

Canine Companions – Canine Companions is leading the service dog industry so our clients and their dogs can live with greater independence. We provide service dogs to adults, children and veterans with disabilities and facility dogs to professionals working in healthcare, criminal justice and educational settings. Since our founding in 1975, our dogs and all follow-up services are provided at no cost to our clients.

Independence shouldn’t be limited to those who look or live a certain way. Disability reaches all races, classes and backgrounds, and Canine Companions will too. Clients come to Canine Companions because of our reputation, the quality of our dogs, the experience of our training staff and the desire to lead life with greater independence. YOU HEREBY WAIVE, RELEASE, HOLD HARMLESS, DEFEND, AND FOREVER DISCHARGE AND INDEMNIFY SECOND CHANCE RESCUE, INC., ITS SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS, AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES, PARTNERS, AND VOLUNTEERS, FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS AND LIABILITIES, DEMANDS, DAMAGES, CAUSES OF ACTION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES OF ACTION, WHATSOEVER, THAT MAY BE SUSTAINED BY YOU OR ANY OTHER PERSON OR PROPERTY FROM AN ACT BY OR OF ANY ANIMALS IN ATTENDANCE AT THE EVENT.
