Bringing It All Back Home to Washington Square – FREE Concert with Kennedy Administration and Dali Rose

The Village Trip Festival’s signature event, this free concert in Washington Square Park anchors the festival’s final weekend. This year, it will bring the soulful sounds of Kennedy Administration, whose sonic tapestry weaves together jazz, R&B, hip-hop, and pop.
The band was born in New York – just a couple of hundred yards away at the Groove Bar on MacDougal Street, where Ms. Kennedy was offered a residency. She needed a keyboard player and Czech-born Ondre J happened to be available. Alchemy! The band’s residency lasted six years. Since then, the group has toured the world, opened for Elton John, and created amazing music.
Also on the bill: Dali Rose, the 22-year-old Atlanta native who began creating and producing his own music during lockdown in his NYU dorm. He has been surrounded by music his entire life – his father, Van Hunt, is a Grammy-award-winning vocalist and musician.
The Village Trip Festival of Culture & Community runs from Sept 19-28 and venues across Greenwich Village and the East Village
