World Premiere: HALALish opens Valentine’s Day at The Tank

The Tank presents the world premiere of HALALish, a raw, hilarious, stereotype-shattering solo show starring Pakistani-American actress Rudaba Zehra Nasir. A one-woman tour de force, the play follows a modern Muslim immigrant in New York City who finds herself single—again—on Valentine’s Day. Set in her living room, HALALish invites audiences into an intimate, laugh-out-loud journey through love, loss, longing, and the very real hope of not spending Valentine’s Day alone.
