
Workspace Residency Open Studios

Open Studios is the culminating event of 2024-2025 Workspace Residency, offering a glimpse into the creative process and artistic development of LMCC’s Workspace artists-in-residence. Members of the public are invited into the studios of 11 multidisciplinary artists to learn about their practices and experience a wide range of artistic works in progress, from painting to sculpture, installation, poetry, photography, and more. Guests will have the opportunity to converse with artists in their studios, experience live performances and more time-based activations.

Workspace, LMCC’s longest-running residency program, offers a unique 9 month opportunity for artists to explore, experiment, and grow in converted studio space in Lower Manhattan. The program fosters collaboration, risk-taking, and skill-sharing, inviting artists to reimagine what it means to work in Lower Manhattan. Workspace supports a dynamic and diverse cohort of artists across various disciplines, from literary arts to digital media.
