Word Play – Free Poerty Slam @ Sugar Mouse

WORD PLAY!   This is a Spoken Word event, with Live Music to accentuate the narrative, and enhance the overall experience of the audience.  The East Village Poetry Slam is a lively event with live music to accentuate the poems and enhance the overall performance. We have invited guest poets for the 1st set, and then we open the room up for Open Mic.

It’s FREE to attend and enjoy the show.  It’s a great opportunity to netowrk and socialize with like minds. 

Wednesday night POETRY at Sugar Mouse in the East Village is a Must See! It’s an awesome event for a midweek hangout in a wonderful setting. 

OUR PURPOSE:  With ever increasing demand for viable outlets for spoken word artists, Jorei Jazz & Company has joined forces with Buzz Builder to produce this monthly event, in an effort to fill the void of access to stages for the community.

SUGAR MOUSE: is an underground Billiard & Game Hall curated with an exquisite display of immersive digital Art from local artists and it’s gorgeous.

SIGN UP:
Poets are encouraged to sign up to perform their material or the work of others. 

FEE: No Fee for anyone coming to watch & enjoy the show.  $10.00 for those who sign up to recite their poem This helps cover the cost of producing the event.
