WNYC and The Moth Present “Only in NY”

WNYC and The Moth have announced “ONLY IN NY,” a special Moth Mainstage of storytelling in celebration of WNYC’s Centennial. This special Mainstage will be New York to the core. The theme, “ONLY IN NY,” will feature five New Yorkers, each sharing a personal story representing the five boroughs of the city. Tying it all together is first-time Moth host, WNYC’s Alison Stewart. In addition to live storytelling, the event will include highlights from the WNYC historic archives, memorabilia from past storytelling events by the Moth, and musical moments and sounds of the city. The evening promises to be a heartfelt tribute to a century of telling New York stories on the airwaves, a night of community and camaraderie for WNYC fans, and a celebration of storytelling in all its forms.
