Carta is the new Mediterranean-inspired wine bar in the heart of the West Village. From a trio of friends and industry veterans, Carta embodies their vision of a long desired “third place,” a warm, welcoming gathering place outside of the home and workplace for New Yorkers of all walks of life. The global wine program from Wine Director Rebecca Powelson emphasizes wines from family owned producers, and compliments the tapas menu from Chef George Guzman. With windows that face the liveliness of the West Village, Carta also offers a marketplace showcasing handpicked Mediterranean products that align with the team’s culinary philosophy.
