RA as Anthony Acevedo

Undesirable Secrets is a gripping solo play based on the true story of Anthony C. Acevedo—a WWII medic, former POW, and the first Mexican American registered as a Holocaust survivor. The show will run from August 24th to the 31st. Captured during the Battle of the Bulge, Anthony was one of 350 American GIs—many of them Jewish—secretly sent to Berga, a Nazi slave labor camp. For over 63 years, he kept silent under military orders. Now, his story is brought to life on stage by writer-performer Dr. Rodolfo Alvarado in this powerful act of remembrance. A haunting, human journey of survival, silence, and truth, Undesirable Secrets honors the forgotten soldiers of Berga and the voices that were never meant to be heard.
