  • A Toast To Women / Flavor-forward cocktails infused with feminine flare

Come together and raise a glass to the power of women. Throughout March, Lounge on Pearl presents HERStory in a Glass, a limited-edition cocktail menu honoring the achievements of women in the spirits industry. Crafted by Kevin McGuire, General Manager of JF Restaurants at The Wall Street Hotel, each cocktail pays tribute to female pioneers and their lasting impact.

Trudi’s Legacy
Trudiann Branker made history as Mount Gay’s first female Master Blender, bringing fresh innovation to one of the world’s most revered rum distilleries. This cocktail celebrates her craft with the smooth depth of Mount Gay, the tropical vibrancy of passionfruit, and a touch of citrus for balance—bold, bright, and expertly blended, just like her legacy.

Beth’s Blend

As Lead Blender of Maker’s Mark, Beth Buckner stands at the forefront of whiskey craftsmanship, bringing a fresh perspective to a historically male-dominated industry. This cocktail reflects her mastery—smooth Maker’s Mark meets bright pamplemousse, a touch of Aperol, and fresh lemon, creating a bold yet balanced tribute to the women reshaping whiskey.

The Gracie Experiment

A tribute to Lesley Gracie’s pioneering spirit, this cocktail embodies the same curiosity and craftsmanship that led to the creation of Hendrick’s Gin. A seamless blend of Hendrick’s delicate botanicals, the quinine depth of Kina L’Aéro D’Or, and the smooth clarity of Tito’s Vodka, this drink is a nod to her background in chemistry and her relentless pursuit of flavor innovation. Balanced, refined, and undeniably bold—just like the woman behind the gin.
