The WNET Group Gala 2025

The WNET Group Gala will host a performance by award-winning stage and screen actor, writer and presenter/television host, Alan Cumming (Avengers: Doomsday, PBS’ MASTERPIECE Mystery! and The Traitors) on April 28 in New York.

The gala and special performance pays homage to The WNET Group’s mission to use the power of media to educate, inform, entertain, and inspire audiences everywhere. Through this year’s “Broadway and Beyond” programming initiative, The WNET Group offers a wide range of Broadway and arts programming to the general public, available on-air and online. “Broadway and Beyond” includes a special collection of Broadway and arts programming including Great Performances, American Masters, ALL ARTS, and many others. This year, Great Performances’ “Broadway’s Best” line-up will offer recent productions of Next to Normal, Yellow Face, Girl from the North Country, and Kiss Me, Kate for audiences to enjoy.

The WNET Group President and CEO, Neal Shapiro and other guests will join the stage for special remarks.
