The V Foundation’s Boo-Yah Event to Honor Stuart Scott and Raise Money for Cancer Research
Boo-Yah is a unique series of events, making a significant impact on racial disparities in cancer outcomes by funding grants through the Stuart Scott Memorial Cancer Research Fund. Scott’s fund supports general cancer research led by scientists from underrepresented groups driven to improve outcomes for minorities disproportionately affected by the disease.
At this year’s event, guests will honor the 10-year anniversary of Stuart Scott’s ESPYS speech while enjoying a vintner reception of the best wines from Northern California, cheer on teams at the Jimmy V Classic basketball tournament, learn about the great work of V Foundation grantees and have the chance to win one-of-a-kind auction experiences with an after party to follow.
