The Sweater, A History
Join co-author Gail DeMeyere and editor Keren Ben-Horin of The Sweater: A History, as they trace the garment’s fascinating 300-year history as an aesthetic and craft object and tell the story of its materials and construction, national traditions, fashion fads, and accessories. The sweater has gone full circle from the inception of the hand knit to the advancement of technology and back to knitting with natural fibers.
