The Playwrights’ Perspective

Join us as we present a panel featuring some of today’s most celebrated playwrights as they discuss the challenges and triumphs of producing work on and off-Broadway and in the commercial and non-profit sectors. Moderated by theater and music journalist Elysa Gardner, the panel will include Oscar, Tony Award, and Pulitzer Prize winner John Patrick Shanley, whose play “Doubt” was recently revived in a production starring Liev Schreiber and Amy Ryan. Patrick will be joined by a fellow Pulitzer winner, playwright, lyricist and composer Michael R. Jackson, whose credits include “A Strange Loop”, and “Teeth.”
