Opening the series is September 5, directed by Tim Fehlbaum and starring Peter Sarsgaard, John Magaro, Ben Chaplin, and Leonie Benesch, which premiered at the 81st Venice International Film Festival in August 2024. The film, which will be released in the United States on November 29, 2024, is set during the 1972 Munich Summer Olympics and follows an American Sports broadcasting team that quickly adapted from sports reporting to live coverage of the Israeli athletes taken hostage.
