The Museum of Modern Art Presents Film in The Sculpture Garden: Stella Dallas

This summer The Museum of Modern Art will present films in the Sculpture Garden on select Wednesday evenings. Stella Dallas will be shown at The Museum of Modern Art on August 2^nd at 8p.m.

This special outdoor screening of the 1925 silent film Stella Dallas is the U.S. premiere of a new digital restoration by The Museum of Modern Art and the Film Foundation from a 35mm print held by MoMA and will be accompanied by a new orchestral score composed by Stephen Horne and recorded at the film’s 2021 restoration premiere at the Venice Biennale.

The screening will take place rain or shine; in case of inclement weather, the film will be shown in MoMA’s Titus Theaters.
