The Last Neighbors builds improvised One-Act plays with grounded characters and unexpected plot lines, based off the title created by their audiences! From capers and espionage kitchen sink dramas, to fight clubs and divorced dad dreams…you’ll find yourself rooting for more drama!

The Last Neighbors are:

Sarah Kim – (she/her) Sarah Kim has been performing improv and sketch throughout the city since 2018. She is a classically trained vocalist who has long since abandoned opera in favor of improv. When not with The Last Neighbors, she’s crafting insanely detailed monoscenes with her group Lebaron.

Mike Spara – (he/him) Mike Spara is an actor, writer and music maker. He improvises through the city and has taught at West Point & Yale, with workshops and sketch performances in festivals around the continent (SF Sketchfest, Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival, Moontower Comedy Festival). He’s repped by Will Ball (VIE Talent Agency) and Mike Milmore (Atlas Talent) and managed by Lorna Rainey (TTE).

Janice McIntyre – (she/her) Janice McIntyre is an actress, singer, improviser and licensed attorney (for real). She studied acting at the University Center for the Performing Arts and HB Studios. She can also be seen on The Blacksmiths and Road House.

Channing Tookes – (he/him) Brooklyn-based actor, writer, and comedian Channing Tookes is a lifelong New York Metropolitan Area-er, which means he was born in Manhattan but grew big and strong in Stamford, CT. He started studying and performing improv at UCB in 2015 and never looked back. These days, you can catch him with The Last Neighbors, The Blacksmiths, performing and writing with his sketch group Time to Kill, and making up sillies as co-host of the funniest podcast about commercials Please Sponsor Us.

Dominique Salerno – (she/her) Dominique Salerno is a New York based actor, writer and improviser. In her unique and ridiculous solo show “THE BOX SHOW” she performs over 25 different characters from inside a small cupboard. “THE BOX SHOW” played in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2023, won “The Overall Excellence Award for Solo Performance” at FringeNYC, “Best Comedic Script” in the United Solo Theatre Festival, and was selected for the Fringe Encore Series. Dominique also performs musical improv with her comedy duo “The Moustache Apologies” and videos from her musical sketch duo Feminarchy have been featured on Funny or Die, The Huffington Post, and The New York Times.

Jibri Nurridin – (he/him) Hailing from the Deep South and making his home in New York City, Jibri is an actor, educator, and writer dedicated to exploring his endless curiosity and doing good along the way. 10 months out of the year he can be found in New York City, teaching middle school history in the Bronx, boxing on the weekends, and performing improv The Last Neighbors and The Blacksmiths. The remaining 2 months are often spent abroad, expanding his understanding of arts, culture, and the human experience.

Willem Brian Smith – (he/him) Willem Brian Smith is a New York-based actor, host, and improviser. A native of Minneapolis, and graduate of Emerson College, Willem studied at The Brave New Workshop and has since been studying and performing improv for almost 15 years. Willem’s acting credits include Succession, Human Nature, and myriad plays and short films.

Billy Fenderson – (he/him) Billy Fenderson is an actor/improvisor who holds an MFA in Acting from Columbia University and has further trained at The PIT and UCB. He has played on house teams both at The PIT and The Armory for a combined 10 seasons and is a core ensemble member of Awkward Family Dinner, a long-running production at The PIT. He has performed theatrically and on TV in both NYC and Chicago over the past 12 years. He’s currently repped by Take3 and Stewart Talent.
