The Eczema Experience: Stories Itching to Be Told is an immersive public event presented by AbbVie that invites attendees to step into the lives of those living with eczema. Held during National Eczema Awareness Month on Tuesday, October 8, and Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at the vibrant Flatiron Plaza in NYC, this unique immersive experience blends art, science, and storytelling to vividly illustrate the physical, emotional and social challenges of living with eczema. 

Narrated by actress and eczema advocate Tia Mowry, the event provides a personal perspective on living with the condition. Visitors will also gain expert insights from Dr. Evan Rieder, a dual board-certified dermatologist and psychiatrist, who will guide attendees through the emotional and physical aspects of eczema’s impact. 

Through an innovative fusion of sound, sight and touch, visitors will embark on a multisensory journey, gaining a profound, firsthand understanding of the realities faced by those affected by this chronic condition.
