Teen Art and Craft: Blackout Poetry

This program invites teens to creatively explore themes of censorship, freedom of expression, and the power of words through blackout poetry, using pages from challenged or banned books (or copies thereof). It’s a way to reclaim silenced stories by turning them into new, powerful messages. We will be using art material during this program.

Join us at the Grand Concourse Teen Center every Thursday for a fun arts and craft program. All materials and snacks will be provided!
