Silent Clowns Film Series presents “The Bat” at Cobble Hill Cinemas

On October 15 at 7:30 the Silent Clowns Film Series is back at Cobble Hill Cinemas with “The Bat”. Thrills and chills mixed with comedy has been a cinematic staple since the movies began – in “The Bat” from 1926, one of the most popular of the genre, the bravura design, camerawork and feeling of dread from German Expressionism meet the slapstick antics of Louise Fazenda. Opening the show is Koko the Clown with his own spooky problems in Koko’s Haunted House (1928).
