Seiki Yukimoto Soulbleed East Meets West

Delight to music that is sizzling, raw, full of improvised riffs and unexpected sounds from Seiki Yukimoto and Soulbleed East Meets West ( part of the NUBLU Jazz Festival.)  Expect an evening of  electrifying music from this unique band of veteran jazz musicians who have shaped music through their innovative compositions and performances.

Internationally acclaimed soulful and sensual trumpet and quena player Seiki Yukimoto leads the band in free flowing interpretations of his compositions. Expect to see Spaceman Patterson playing electric guitar as only he can, the well placed notes of Stanley Banks on electric bass and Terry Burrus  passionately shaking up those keyboards.  The percussion section includes Craig Holiday Haynes playing drums the way he did for the SunRa Arkestra,  Newman Taylor Baker on his new age amplified washboard and Jose Luis Abreu lending his unique latin percussion skills.

It is a rare opportunity to see these jazz greats playing together and shaking up the club with their rousing music!  Not to be missed!
