Savor the Sound: A Night of Cultural, Culinary, and Musical Fusion

June 15, 6:30 pm9 pm.
$90-175

We are Concerts for Compassion – a group of Juilliard alums on a mission to help refugees in NYC. A non-profit, CFC provides music and education to the migrant communities in our city and abroad. We’ve been to over thirty countries across the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas, and have had features on WQXR, Good Morning America, and more.

On Saturday, June 15th, 2024, we are hosting a unique pairing of dinner and a concert at Chelsea Market –  Savor the Sound: A Night of Cultural, Culinary, and Musical Fusion in partnership with refugee-run restaurant, Eat Offbeat. The chefs from Eat Offbeat will be preparing dishes from their home countries across the Middle East and Africa. Members of the former Marian String Quartet (all Juilliard alumni) will be playing musical works paired by our repertoire curator to each course of dinner. All proceeds from this event will go towards creating an emergency fund for the amazing chefs at Eat Offbeat.

It will be a beautiful evening of cultural celebration using food, music, and an intimate date setting…perfect for picky NY foodies and music buffs alike.

Location:

Eat Offbeat, Chelsea Market, 75 9th Ave
