Reception for “MIDWINTER” An Exhibition of Gallery Artists and Guests

FIRST STREET GALLERY is pleased to present “MIDWINTER,” an Exhibition of Gallery Artists and Guests, on view from December 3rd to the 20th, 2025, with an opening reception on Thursday, December 4th, from 6 to 8 PM.

“MIDWINTER” reveals some of the currents and explorations of an art world that no longer adheres to a few basic formal paths, but moves within many local, global, and individual directions. Perceptions and accepted traditions branch out from landscapes, interiors, portraits, abstractions, and imaginative reconstructions in search of new pictorial realms.
