Preschool Crafts!

Join us each Monday afternoon for a craft and storytime! We’ll make different crafts each week and read related books for an audience of 3-5 year old kids, their siblings, and caregivers. This event takes place in the children’s room. This month, our schedule of crafts is:

Monday March 6- Hatch That Egg

It’s the season where birds nest and chicks grow up. We’ll read books about birds flying around the city and learn a few bird facts. Join us to make a paper egg that opens to reveal a paper chick! 

Monday March 13- Make A Flower Crown

Spring is here, and that means flowers. We’ll read about different flowers kids might see and make our own crowns from different colored paper.

Monday March 20- Make Your Own Boat

Join us to make boats that really float– and test your designs! We’ll read books about boats before using craft kits to assemble some seaworthy vessels.

Monday March 27- Collage 

Collage with us! Use our collage paper scraps to create your own pictures. Focus on a color your like, a scene you want to create, or just put those pieces of paper together in a way that makes you feel good.
