Peacocks to Poodles: Marble Collegiate Church’s Annual Blessing of the Animals

Cuddly and cute, or not, bring your beloved pets to Marble Collegiate Church’s annual Blessing of the Animals, Oct. 12 , 2025, at noon, on the Fifth Avenue steps of 1 W. 29^th Street. Marble ministers will be on hand to bless all kinds of animals, including plush toy animals. If your pet doesn’t travel well, bring photos of them to be blessed. This festive, community-oriented event will take place immediately after the 11 a.m. service.

NOTE: The Sanctuary will be animal-free. All pet lovers are welcome to watch the 11:00 a.m. service with their animals in the lower level Labyrinth Room.
