Out of the Darkness Bronx Walk

The Out of the Darkness Walk is an annual community event held in the Bronx, where those affected by suicide come together – and those who support them – to raise awareness and much-needed funds for suicide awareness and prevention. Walking together sends a strong message that suicide can be preventable and that no one is alone. Friends, family members, neighbors, and coworkers walk side-by-side, supporting each other and in memory of those we’ve lost. Our walk participants are passionate supporters of AFSP’s mission to save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide. At the event itself, we will have speeches, a wall of hope to remember those we’ve lost to suicide, a photo booth, music, a raffle, art, and other entertainment. The event is free and open to the public.
