Opening Reception for Joel Adas – From City to Sea, at Parallax Modern Art Gallery

Parallax Modern, a dynamic new contemporary art gallery located in Chesterfield, New Jersey, offers a unique perspective on modern art. Located conveniently between the bustling art scenes of New York City and Philadelphia, Parallax Modern is dedicated to showcasing the exceptional talent of the Tri-state area in a renovated warehouse that was once a sign shop. The public is invited to join the gallery’s reception featuring artist Joel Adas on June 7th from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

The gallery will be presenting the work of painter Joel Adas, who works from his imagination in vivid colors. Adas is drawn to depicting coastal and urban areas where there is evidence of decay and of structures that were once used and are now defunct. The conjunction of nature and man-made structures figures prominently in his work, the result of living for many years in New York City, and now in Cape May, NJ.
