One Night: T1D Awareness

The Greater New York City Young Leadership Committee (YLC) is a direct extension of the Chapter and an unstoppable force in the fight against T1D. The YLC is a group of young business and civic professionals, ages 21-40, who share the same purpose in turning type one into type none. Through hosting a variety of social, educational, and fundraising events, the YLC builds awareness of T1D, raises money to fund critical T1D research, and builds a strong support network for those affected by this disease.

One Night brings passionate leaders in the philanthropic and business communities together for one night, one purpose and one vision…a world without T1D. One Night is a fun evening filled with cocktails, music, a silent auction, raffle and passed hors d’oeuvres. Over the past 10 years, One Night has raised over 1 million dollars all to support JDRF’s vision of a world without T1D.
