Old School Hip Hop Party: Celebrating The Life of Biggie Smalls

Honor the life & music of the Notorious B.I.G. at SOB’s: New York City’s home of Hip Hop since 1982. Old-school Hip Hop and Biggie classics spun by NYC’s resident old-school Hip Hop DJ, DJ Freedom. Get free entry with RSVP before 7:00PM if you have a Brooklyn ID in honor of Biggie. Food and drinks will be available. Happy hour drink specials all night!

An NYC staple for over 40 years, S.O.B.’s is a legendary live music venue in Downtown Manhattan. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, S.O.B.’s was solidified as the Manhattan hubspot for hip hop, with legends like DMX, Mary J. Blige, Wu-Tang Clan, Mos Def, Gang Starr, Talib Kweli, KRS-One, and Tribe Called Quest hitting the stage, to name a few. S.O.B.’s has remained the home of Hip Hop in NYC, with later superstars like Kendrick Lamar, Nicki Minaj, J. Cole, and more kickstarting their careers on the legendary stage.
