New York Panettone Festival

The 2nd annual New York Panettone Festival is taking place this weekend on December 17 and 18, while supplies last, at 5203 Center Boulevard; part of TF Cornerstone’s two-tower luxury development complex in Long Island City’s Hunters Point South.

In case you aren’t familiar with this delicious Italian treat, panettone is a sweet bread made with nuts and candied fruits, originally born out of Milan and historically enjoyed during the holiday season. Renowned chefs will be showcasing fresh artisanal takes on the delicacy, including a panettone with vanilla and berries, one with rum and chocolate, and another made with apricot and salted caramel, among many others.

The event is completely free for all to join and no tickets are required, although the panettone and other seasonal refreshments will be available for sale. Additional imported Italian foods are available for purchase at Santa Chiara Caffe (the event organizer), just steps away from the event space.
