New York Cares Coat Drive

Can you afford to contribute $25 to keep a neighbor warm this winter? Hey Bronx, we know you’re so much more than the home of the Yankees and the birthplace of Hip Hop. You’re the beating heart of the city, so we’re coming to you with an urgent message: too many of our neighbors are going without a warm coat this season. In reality, a total of 1.4 million New Yorkers, including one in five children, are currently living in poverty.

Our annual Coat Drive is in full swing, and the best way to make a difference is to donate $25, to give a New Yorker a brand new coat + 10 nutritious meals. Last year, our Coat Drive distributed more than 63,000 coats and 260,000 meals to New Yorkers in need.

When you donate to Coats+, your dollar goes further, and ensures that brand new warm coats and meals reach the communities that need them most. Or you can donate a coat of your own, proving that last season’s coat still has a lot of warmth left.

We’re on a mission to provide another 60,000 coats this season with a goal of more than 10,000 distributed to New Yorkers in the Bronx. Will you help us warm up New York, inside and out?
