Manhattan 2023 Lower East Side Festival of the Arts

Theater for the New City’s Lower East Side Festival of the Arts is an indoor and outdoor live audience event with a cohort of over 200 performing arts organizations, independent artists, poets, puppeteers, literary artists, visual artists and film makers participating.  Kids’ Day will have an afternoon of family friendly offerings including magic, live theater, and more.

2:00- 2:15 — John Grimaldi with magic for all ages!

2:20- 2:40 — Songs from “The Wizard of Oz” performed by the Yip Harburg Rainbow Troupe.

2:45- 2:55 — TNCs Arts in Education, a free after school program for kids ages 8-12, presents CHANGES & TIME.

3:00- 3:10 — COBU Kids Japanese Taiko drum group. Performing with COBU.

3:15- 3:30 — MOVE. MAKE. BLOOM. Student Performance Ensemble featuring performances by Artistic Director, Michelle Lauren Siegel and Guest Artist, Leonel Linares.

3:35-3:55 — Kalavant Center presents Sitar duet with Tabla. Performed by Shakir A. Khan, Bina Khan and Zakir Khan.
