Milton Suggs – Harlem Jazz Series

Milton Suggs is an American jazz vocalist and composer known for his soulful voice and innovative musical style. Born and raised in Chicago, Suggs began his musical journey at a young age, singing in church and school choirs. He later studied jazz performance at Northern Illinois University, where he honed his skills and developed a unique approach to jazz singing. Suggs has released several critically acclaimed albums, including “Things to Come,” “The Truth Inside,” and “Lyrical.” Throughout his career, Suggs has collaborated with renowned jazz musicians and performed at prestigious venues and festivals around the world. He has received accolades for his contributions to the jazz community, including being named the winner of the 2010 Thelonious Monk International Jazz Vocal Competition.
