Marble Church & Plant Powered Metro New York To Present ‘Gut-Brain-Heart Connection’
Marble Collegiate Church’s Plant Positive Fellowship and Plant Powered Metro New York will present “The Gut-Brain-Heart Connection: How Emotional Safety Supports Digestion” with Dr. Matthew Lederman on Thursday, Feb. 12, from 6 to 8 p.m. in Marble’s Labyrinth Room, 1 W. 29th St., New York City.
The interactive gathering will explore how the gut and digestive system affect well-being and will be led by Dr. Lederman, a pioneering physician in connection medicine and the bestselling author of “The Forks Over Knives Plan.” He will discuss how the human nervous system and emotional attunement influence how food moves through the gut, supporting nutrient absorption and helping balance the microbiome to promote healing from the inside out.
The event is free, but registration is required.
