Manischewitz Debuts SOUP: A New Art & Photography Exhibition
SOUP is a free public art and photography exhibition presented by Manischewitz exploring Jewish cuisine, memory, and identity as a living, evolving culture. Through contemporary visual art, photography, and storytelling, the exhibition examines how food — particularly soup — serves as a source of comfort, ritual, humor, and shared memory across generations.
The exhibition features work by Dan Weinstein, Rosemarie Gleiser, and Israeli photographer Ohad Romano, whose practices explore identity, diaspora, and cultural preservation in modern contexts. Art will be available for purchase on site, and the Manischewitz Deli on Wheels will be parked outside serving traditional comfort foods including soup, knishes, and hot dogs.
