Let’s Fall in Love: The Songs and Loves of Cole Porter

In this new show, award-winning writer and performer, Lisa Faith Phillips weaves the stories of Cole Porter’s life against the backdrop of his great love songs, with the marvelous singer Deanna Kirk and the great John Di Martino on piano.

Considered the greatest songwriter in the American songbook, Cole Porter wrote both the music and lyrics for over one thousand songs and his life was just as remarkable!

From his wealthy childhood in Peru, Indiana through Yale and Harvard Law School, and his marriage to great beauty Linda Thomas, to his opulent gay life in Paris New York and Hollywood, Cole’s story is riveting. He was already 37 when his Broadway career finally took off with the success of Paris in 1928 followed by many popular musicals from Anything Goes to Kiss Me Kate. It’s a “wildly entertaining” night of laughter and song!
