Juilliard Orchestra Conducted by Nicholas Carter
Nicholas Carter, recently appointed music director of the Staatsoper and Staatsorchester Stuttgart, takes the podium on Monday, November 24, amid a run of Arabella performances with the Met Orchestra. His Juilliard program juxtaposes Kaija Saariaho’s Ciel d’hiver with Richard Strauss’ tone poem Don Quixote, featuring student cello soloist Elena Ariza, and Brahms’ Symphony No. 4.
