Italian-American Heritage Month: History and Author Talk with Ryan Byrnes at Whitestone Library
In celebration of Italian-American Heritage Month, join us for an exciting book and history talk with author Ryan Byrnes. Ryan is going to talk about his latest book on Italian-American history “My Dear Antonio.” He will tell the story of his Italian ancestors who came to New York City for a better life, helped construct the Brooklyn Bridge, and built a family. He will also talk about the lasting influence of the Italian immigration on American culture.
Ryan Byrnes is a book editor in the publishing industry and an Italian-American writer. His books have won an Independent Publisher Book Award, and his writing has been published in Premier Christianity, Fine Books Magazine, Italian America Magazine, December, Sixfold, and more. He is a member of the Sons and Daughters of Italy in America and regularly speaks about publishing and books.
