Join 14Y for a conversation and gallery reception celebrating Hyphen, a graphic novel anthology that brings to life powerful and personal stories from diverse Jewish experiences today. From the first woman rabbi in Uganda, to a member of India’s Bene Israel community, to a Midwesterner’s search for their authentic self, the stories in Hyphen reveal the diversity and complexity of the contemporary Jewish experience. But these are not stories about them–they’re stories by them.

The Hyphen: Jewish Stories in Our Own Words exhibition is on view in 14Y’s gallery from January 1 – February 28.

The Hyphen anthology is a collaboration of Be’chol Lashon and Fairsquare Graphics. This event is cosponsored by Be’chol Lashon and the NYC Office for the Prevention of Hate Crimes.
