About the Program: Join Hamilton Grange in welcoming NYC Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) as they host the first of a series of monthly workshops aimed at supporting New Yorkers in all aspects of housing. These workshops aim to facilitate learning, engagement, and participation in civic life within the Harlem community.

HPD’s housing information classes provide valuable insights into various housing issues for tenants, homeowners, and property managers in New York City. Led by experts, these classes are free of charge.

NYC Housing Connect serves as the portal for finding and applying for affordable rental and homeownership opportunities across the five boroughs of New York City.

Topics to be covered in the Housing Connect workshop will include:

• Understanding affordable housing
• Utilizing NYC Housing Connect to find affordable housing
• Preparing to apply for affordable housing
• What to expect after applying for affordable housing
