HOW CAN POETRY SAVE THE WORLD?

2Leaf Press, a Black/Brown female-led nonprofit press that promoted multicultural literature, invites you to help us celebrate NATIONAL POETRY MONTH with our Zoom event, HOW CAN POETRY SAVE THE WORLD?, on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at 7:00pm (EST).
Listen in as acclaimed and award-winning 2Leaf Press poets Jesús Papoleto Meléndez, Tara Betts, Youssef Alaoui, Claire Millikin, Odi Gonzales, Laila Halaby and Ray DiZazzo read their works. Hosted by 2Leaf Press publisher Gabrielle David, the poets will also tackle the meaning of poetry and remind us of the integral role of poets and poetry in our cultures in the world. This is a free Zoom event, and registration is required at https://bit.ly/2lp-2023-zoom-reg.
A 2Leaf Press Inc. production, this event is funded in part by Poets & Writers through public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council.
