
Health and Wellness: Yoga
Are you looking for a way to de-stress in these challenging times?
Join us on Saturday’s for an afternoon of relaxation and rejuvenation while practicing Yoga.
Yoga has origins dating back over 5,000 years in India and yields proven benefits with consistent
practice.
A few advantages of practicing yoga include but are not limited to:
– Aids in weight reduction
– Increases strength and aids in better movement with stretching exercises
– Improves posture stress reliever; also increases vitality and energy
– Promotes circulatory health and wellness
– Improves flexibility
– Helps develop muscle tone
This is an in-person program, scheduled to take place at the New Lots Library’s auditorium.
Adults 18+ are welcome! All skill levels are welcome. Registration is required to attend!
Everyone is encouraged to bring water, a towel, and a yoga mat to class.
