Darrell Green, born in Oakland, California, is renowned for his effortless technique and captivating rhythms that bring music to life. His style, rooted in modern post-bop, seamlessly incorporates elements of gospel and classical music. Green has performed in over 50 countries, gracing stages like Jazz at Lincoln Center, The Blue Note Jazz Club, Birdland, The Kennedy Center, and the Montreux Jazz Festival. He has collaborated with jazz legends such as Cassandra Wilson, Pharoah Sanders, Benny Golson, and Dr. Lonnie Smith.

Currently, Darrell Green serves as an assistant professor at McGill University’s Schulich School of Music, where he mentors the next generation of jazz musicians.
