Earth Celebrations at The Kite: Clothing Swap & E-Waste
Join The Kite in celebrating Earth Day with a weekend of music, making, and musing about nature! Flora and fauna native to New York inspire everything from their cocktails to the lush mural by Nina Nichols that serves as a visual anchor for this space.
Kick off the weekend with a clothing swap and e-waste drive!
Bring your cables, cords, old flip phone, walkman to be re-used or properly recycled. Please nothing bigger than a breadbox (no laptops, TV’s, monitors).
Please only bring clothes, shoes, and accessories to the swap!
Please make sure the clothing items you bring are clean and in good condition.
All leftover items will be donated to Housing Works. Electronics will be donated to Goodwill, a NYC designated e-waste drop-off site.
Stick around for GemiNites a zodiac themed celebration for the NYC latinx community party.
There will be a special absinthe cocktail all weekend long with absinthe from NY based distillery Delaware Phoenix!
