Step back in time with the Cow Neck Peninsula Historical Society at the Dodge Homestead Spring Fling on Saturday, May 10, from 1-4 p.m.! This family-friendly event takes place on the grounds of the historic Dodge Homestead (circa 1721), now a house-museum run by the Society. Come inside and learn who lived there, sing along to the music of our own Front Porch Players, learn about our honeybees from Ross, our very own beekeeper, and see the new addition to our barn for a special photo op!

Our own Dodge Homestead honey will be available, as well as Port Washington “circa 1644” tee shirts, loads of home-baked goods, beautiful jewelry galore, CNPHS Journals and books about old Port Washington, and even some attic treasures.

Also – At 2:00 p.m. go for a guided walk around the picturesque Mill Pond and learn about the mills, early settlers, first schoolhouse and first church in Port Washington, and more!

The Dodge Homestead is located on the head of the Mill Pond, at 58 Harbor Road. Plenty of parking along the north side of the Pond and up Harbor Road. For more information, visit www.cowneck.org. Admission is FREE!
