The New York Chapter of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA NY) is excited to present its latest Civic Design Forum event – Creating a Destination from a Public Landmark. Join us on Tuesday, October 15th from 5:30 to 7:00 PM at Tin Building by Jean-Georges (96 South St, New York, NY 10038) for an informative discussion and walk-through of the recent work completed at Pier 17, including the Tin Building, an acclaimed food hall curated by Jean-Georges.

This educational event promises to be both fun and insightful. Attendees will have the chance to take an in-depth look at the process and design elements within the space that make it such an exciting addition to the South Street Seaport’s Historic District. The panel of speakers will be led by the project’s architect of record, Mancini Duffy, alongside a diverse group of consultants. A reception provided by event sponsors, will be immediately following the event nearby at The Hideaway Seaport, 22 Peck Slip, New York, NY 10038.

Registration is available via Eventbrite here. All attendees must be over the age of 21. Tickets are $60 for members, $75 for non-members, and $50 for students. This event will provide 1 IDCEC CEUs and 1 AIA.
